fish & salad anyone?:))

Normally, I would have made a fish cake with plenty of water around it, but this time I wanted to do something different, so there you have it, surrounded by salad, lemon and tomato slices.
The eye was kinda of a last minute thing, next time I'll dedicate it more time.

Another Christening cake

The requests were ladybugs, flowers and baby shoes and this is how I envisioned it. Simple yet beautiful. The cake had to serve 40 people so the two tiers are bigger than the ones I usually use.

I chose to go with this type of baby shoes instead of the sneaker type. I feel these are more girly.

back of the cake

baby carriage topper Christening cake

I love this color combination for little girls. The mum showed me a picture of a one tier cake with a similar baby carriage on top and from that I created this cake for the Christening of her little one.
We were both very happy with the result.

This cake traveled by car a couple of hours till it reached its destination, just as such, stacked and decorated; but it got there just fine so everyone was able to enjoy it. Pheeeew.....
It was such a relief to hear it got there in one shape.

white & pale pink Christening cake

White and pale pink for this little girl's Christening cake.
Unfortunately, I was supposed to put a big bow on the side and somehow I forgot!!!, so the cake was not what expected.

sports cakes

 a Penn tennis ball cake

 a martial arts kimono cake

a Manchester United Football club ball
I wrote the names of the players on the ball as well as the birthday boy's name so that it would make it look like he was one of them:)

swiming pool cake

Made for a swimming class instructor. His girlfriend surprised him with this cake. She asked for a swimming pool, one big frog, representing the instructor, and little ones for the children.

and the Holly Bible ...

The Holly Bible again, this time in a smaller format and with a fondant covered board.
