ballerina shoes cake

 Made for a dear friend of Rebeca. She is a gorgeous 9 year old ballerina.

 The cake was a surprise from her mum.

Ballerina shoes made by hand, no pattern used.

And now, a little tip for you my followers ... this is how I made my pillow embellishments ( no idea what they are called in English:))).
 oh yes!... I used a regular garlic press!!!!  I saw this idea a while back on a Spanish blog that I am following but I do not remember which one, so I cannot give any credits. 

You just push a ball of fondant in there
 and you press it like it was garlic:))

With a knife cut off your perfect all equal little threads. Enjoy the tip!:)

And NO, your fondant does not smell like garlic.
My press does not have any smell at all. I always wash it immediately after use so no smell issues there.

  5. Giovanna, am vazt ca te-a mirat nominalizarea mea si vroiam sa-ti spun ca mie imi plac la nebunie torturile tale, esti foarte talentata! Nu comentez mereu, pentru ca raman cu gura cascata si nu mai gasesc nimic inteligent de spus...si mereu repet aceleasi cuvinte de lauda :-). Dar mi-am propus candva, cu vreo ocazie deosebita sa apelez la talentele tale :-). Chiar, nu stiu de ce nu ti-am luat bannerul pana acum. I'll grab it now!

  8. imi place combinatia de culori si cum iti iese perna ( poate incerc si eu cindva), dar te bat ca nu ai asteptat sa se intareasca pantofii bine. Hai ca te iert ca nu ai timp si un pupic sa nu te superi :)

  9. @ cccris - sa se intareasca? mmm... ce e aia? mmm cred ca un lux pe care mi-l permiteam candva:) acum doar din cand in cand mai imi permit astfel de rasfaturi:))) dar oricum au rezistat enorm d ebine. eu ma asteptam cand l-am pus unul peste celalt sa se culce de tot cel de jos. si chiar au stat super bine avand in vedere ca au stat cred ca mai putin de ora la uscat pana i-am pus pe tort:))) deci cred ca merit pusi-ul. nu?
