Last Saturday two long time friends of ours celebrated their wedding and the Christening of their handsome son.
As you can imagine, my gifts were THE CAKES!
This is the cake I did for their wedding. The bride chose the filling, which was wild berries yogurt mousse, and gave me total freedom with the design. How often do you see that? I kept it a total surprise, just told her it wouldn't be something classic.
It took me 7 hours to decorate it. The cake had 4 tiers and I used 4.5 kg of white chocolate to make all those chocolate fans,but seeing the the bride's eyes when they brought the cake, made it all worth it. She was a lovely bride and she deserved a lovely cake.
